Mummy Dogs
- Cook Time: 20 mins
- Serves: 10
Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough, either pre-cut or a sheet
- 10 hot dogs
- Cooking spray
- Candy eyes
- Mustard
- 1 can of Skyline Chili
- Cheese for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Unroll dough. If using crescent rolls, separate at perforations, creating 4 rectangles. Press perforations to seal. If using dough sheet, cut into 4 rectangles.
- Cut each rectangle lengthwise into 8-10 strips.
- Wrap 3-4 pieces of dough around each hot dog to look like a mummy. Slightly stretch the dough to cover the hot dogs completely. About ½ inch from one end of each hot dog, separate the dough so hot dog shows through for the mummy’s face. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Place wrapped hot dogs on uncreased baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake 13 to 17 minutes or until dough is light golden brown and hot dogs are cooked.
- After hot dogs cool slightly, use mustard to add two candy eyes to each mummy.
- Heat one can of Skyline, and pour into ramekins or small bowls.
- Top the chili with cheese.
- Serve and dip!
